Beauty is in the flesh

Home / Beauty is in the flesh

I was looking at a picture of a pin-up girl and I thought that the urge to desire that she expresses (and for which she was ‘used’) exists in every being: it is eroticism as a desire to please. And to be liked for who you are. This desire exists independently and allows us to communicate with others and is activated on the basis of perception. When perception follows a norm, it falls asleep. That is why I asked curvy women to embody and express this emblem. What is the relationship between the represented body and the body that women actually experience and feel?
